The theme is “Home for the Holidays.”

The traditional route, which ends at the school grounds, will be used. Beta Alpha will provide hot cocoa, cider and cookies at the end of the parade in the School Heritage Building.

The museum will also be open during this time.

Choirs are invited to sing carols after the lighting ceremony.

Cash prizes of $25 will be awarded for parade entries judged Best Theme, Best Equestrian, Best Children’s and Most Religious. Line up starts at 5 p.m. for judging.

Angel Tree Project

The Angel Tree project is sponsored by the Pea Ridge Ministerial Alliance, according to chairman Al Fowler.

Angel trees will be set up at both banks - Arvest and Community First - on which are hung paper angels with the age, gender, grade, size and gift idea for children.

To register for Angel Tree, fill out a form available at City Hall, both banks and First Baptist Church. The forms must be turned in by Nov. 28, but sooner is better, Fowler said.

Persons shopping for the Angel Tree recipientsmust return gifts by Dec.

5 because the gifts will be picked up by parents for the children on Dec. 8.

For people who can’t shop, or simply prefer to give a donation, tax-deductible donations can be made to Pea Ridge Area Ministerial Alliance and designated to the Angel Tree, Fowler said.

Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 46, Pea Ridge AR 72751 or dropped off at Arvest Bank.
