PEA RIDGE — Edward Gonzales
Edward Gonzales, 81, a resident of Garfield, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at his home. He was born in Oceanside, Calif., on Oct. 13, 1930, to Jesus and Anna Maria (Garibay) Gonzales.
On Nov. 8, 1989, Edward married Mollie Lou (Blythe) Stamps in Lowell and they were married for more than 22 years before his death. He worked as a farmer and he enjoyed bowling, horses, hunting, working and staying busy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Linda Fisher; six brothers; three sisters; two grandchildren, Stephanie Gidley and Jason Gonzales.
Survivors include his wife, Mollie Lou Stamps Gonzales of the home; five sons, Steven Gonzales of Missouri, Michael Gonzales and wife, Pam, of California, David Gonzales and wife, Kim, of Tennessee, Jeffery Gonzales and wife, Jackie, of Montana, and Karl Gonzales and wife, Petra, of Missouri; one daughter, Susan Rogers and husband, Richard, of California; two sisters, Marie Wilcox and Gloria Popejoy of Costa Rica; 15 grandchildren; 17 greatgrandchildren; one greatgreat-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers.
Graveside funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery, Rogers.

Marcella Dean Gundel
Marcella Dean Gundel, 77, of Washburn, Mo., diedWed. May 9, 2012, at Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonville. She was born Sept. 8,1934, at Mountain, Mo., to Walter Edison Henry and Georgia Lorene Burnett Henry.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, quilting, going to the creek and was a member of Mountain Bible Church in the Mountain Community.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Anita Gay Gundel.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Gundel of the home; three sons,Robert Gundel and wife, Debra, Barry Gundel and wife, Sherry, and Brad Gundel and wife, Deena, all of Washburn; two brothers, Glen and Stanley Henry of Rogers; four sisters, Imogene Edens of Washburn, Joann Hall of Rogers, Kay Moore of Kansas City, Mo., and Glenda Doering of Indiana; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 14, at the funeral home.
Services were at 10 a.m.
Tuesday, May 15, at Mountain Bible Church in Mountain, Mo. with the Rev.
James Duncan officiating.
Burial was at Roller Cemetery on Missouri Hwy. 90.
Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Ronnie Eugene Harris, 76, of Pea Ridge, died May8, 2012 at his home.
He was born Jan. 17, 1936, at Benedict, Kan., to Hubert W. Harris andMadge Morrison Harris.
He married Susan Jones June 22, 1979. He lived in Pea Ridge for 33 years moving from Fredonia, Kan., where he was a police officer. Locally he worked for Daisy Manufacturing as a computer technician. He loved to fish, hunt, target shoot and spend time with his grandkids. He spent six years with the National Guard and was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Susan, of the home;
four daughters, Kristy Lawrence, Stefanie Jackson and Cindy Landis, all of Pea Ridge, and Sherrie Cash of Centerton; three sons, Ricky David of Pea Ridge, Jeff Harris of Centerton, and Mike Harris of Texas; two brothers, Hubert Harris of Wichita, Kan., and Randy Harris of Kansas; and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Graveside service was at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, at Buttrams Chapel Cemetery in Pea Ridge with Brother Donnel Jackson officiating.
Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
