Blankenship receives fellowship

PEA RIDGE — Dillon Blankenship was selected to receive the prestigious Thomas J. Watson Fellowship.

Blankenship, a biology major at Hendrix College in Conway, a Pea Ridge High School graduate, will receive a $25,000 stipend to fund a year of travel and research.

Blankenship will travel tothe United Kingdom, Tanzania, Egypt, India and Russia for his project titled “A Detourby Way of the Beehive: Traditional Apiculture in a Changing World.”
