BENTON COUNTY — Sylvester C. Wright
Sylvester C. Wright, 81, of Garfield, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. Wright was born Dec., 31, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wis., to John and Helen Wright.
He graduated from Waukesha High School and attended Carroll College.
He served four years in the United States Air Force.
The Wrights moved to the Lost Bridge Village near Garfield in 1985.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerome Wright.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Wright of the home; children, John Wright of California, James Wright of Texas, Thomas Wright and wife, Bonnie, of Wisconsin, Pamela Wright and husband, Robert Beckwith, of California, and Jane Wright of Arizona; two grandsons; three granddaughters; and one greatgrandson.
Funeral mass was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church and burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha, Wis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local food bank in memory of Wright.
