BENTON COUNTY — The Pea Ridge band’s annual fundraiser, “BBQ Chicken in the Ditch,” will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, in the high school parking lot. Price for the chicken is $3.50 for a half chicken and $6 for a whole chicken.
Concert open to public
The spring concert of the Pea Ridge Middle School Choir will be at 7 p.m.
Thursday, May 3, in the Pea Ridge High School cafeteria. In addition to performing their selections from regional contest, which earned superior ratings from the judges, they will also sing a medley of Justin Bieber songs. The high school choir will sing a Ray Charles medley and both choirs will combine for an eight and a half minute sing-along of well-known folk songs. Admission is free; the public is invited.
