With a lifelong background in road construction, Ronnie Smith, 56, said he believes he canimprove county roads if he is elected Benton County Judge.

Smith, a native of Garfield/Avoca area, graduated from Rogers High School. He served in the Marine Corps after Vietnam. He is owner of J & R Dozier Construction Company. He has filed as an independent candidate and is collecting signatures on petition to run.
