AREA EVENTS: Seligman community dance slated

SELIGMAN, Mo. — Seligman community dance will at 7 p.m. Thursday June 7, at the Seligman community building. Band will be Frosty Garland and the Road Hogs.

Admission is $4 each.

Snacks are optional, no smoking or alcohol allowed.

Car show, swap meet set

SELIGMAN, Mo. - The third annual Car Show and Swap Meet is set for 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at Ruby’s Event Park, Missouri Hwy. 37 South, by the Seligman Chamber of Commerce.

There will be a DJ, games, and prizes - $300, first place; $100, second place; and $50, third place.

There will be trophiesfor best of show, best paint, best engine, best interior, unfinished, Chamber President choice, largest number of club entries, best teenage entry, the furthest traveled, and best motorcycle. Plaques for the top 30 cars, and top five trucks. Entry fee is $20 per car.
