RUSSELLVILLE — Tyler Neal Scott, son of Rhonda and Mark Scott of Pea Ridge, received a Distinguished Scholar Award from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville in fall 2012. Scott will major in marketing and finance. He attended Bentonville High School, where he was on the honor roll in his freshman and junior years.
Morgan on Dean’s list
WALNUT RIDGE - Brittany Morgan of Pea Ridge has been named to the Dean’s List of Williams Baptist College for the 2012 spring semester. The Dean’s List is comprised of full-time students with at least a 3.5 GPA.
Easley graduates UofA
Bradley Easley of Pea Ridge graduated May 12 from the University ofArkansas with a bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
He is theson of Sandy Button and Ray Easley and grandson of John and June Easley, all of Pea Ridge. Easley graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 2000.
Arkansas Tech University Dean’s List
RUSSELLVILLE - Arkansas Tech University hasannounced its Dean’s List for undergraduate students on the main campus in Russellville for the spring 2012 semester. A student must achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher and complete at least 12 semester hours to be named to the Dean’s List.
Area students named to the Dean’s List include: Kira Anne Coonce, Garfield; and Elizabeth Marie Ash (4.0), Ariel Briana Ray Hall, Aaron Kyle Meredith, Brandon Michael Thompson (4.0) and Maria Camila Yepez (4.0), all of Pea Ridge.
COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS
POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - Culea Abraham, of Pea Ridge, and Brooke DeBoard of Rogers, graduated from College of the Ozarks during the 2012 Commencement exercises May 13.
Abraham received a BS in Elementary Education.
Abraham is a Pea Ridge High School graduate.
DeBoard received a BA in Philosophy/Religion. DeBoard is a Pea Ridge High School graduate.
NorthWest Arkansas Community College Dean’s List
NorthWest Arkansas Community College announced students on the Dean’s List for grades achieved in the fall semester. Students from Pea Ridge listed on the Dean’s List include: Nita Brewer, Brandi Caudill, Jessica Dudley, Kimberly Gresham, Delilah Hacker, Perla Huston, Jessica Louangviseth, Hazel Margo, Nikki Pinto and Callyn Snyder. Students must earn a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.89 while enrolled for nine or more semester hours.
