FFA officers honored

— The Pea Ridge FFA organization celebrated its 22nd annual FFA banquet Monday, May 4, 2012, during which awards are presented.

Proficiency awards were given to the students who qualified for certain agricultural related events.

These students were: Kami Parmenter, Jeremy Smith, Cody Barrios, Daniel Clark, Dakota Winn, Colton Watkins, Cody Crow, Sean Ellzey, Serrena Shultz, Wyatt Holtgrewe, Taylor Mims, Miles Hamilton, Afton Danner, Jennifer Isgrigg, Morgan Pack, Colby Dunlap, Billy Hern, Tyler Haynes, Hunter Lane, Cheyenne Ward, Tiffany Norman, Zachery Sykes, Devon Frost, Caden Wallace, Kalob Henry, Kelsie Galyen, Matthew Van Houden, Logan Harwell, Lexie Bradrick, and Auti Galvan. Students were congratulated on their hard work.

Also honored were the new 2012-2013 FFA officers:Matthew Van Houden, Kami Parmenter, Thomas Lammey, Kalob Henry, Cameron McAllister, Taylor Winn, Elisabeth Mc-Gowen, Jared Woollard, K.C. Cross, Jessica Manuel, Haily Biddinger, Abbye Coan, Austin Cope, Heather Kremer, Wesley Woollard and Ryan Nichols.

The highlight of the nightwas recognizing our latest Honorary Chapter FFA Degree inductees Jennifer Miller, Family and Consumer Science teacher at the high school, and Norma Hern, mother of FFA Jr. advisor Billy Hern. Without support from folks like these, the FFA would not be the largest youth organization in the school system.
