Moving furnishings

— They’ve got to move it move it!

With the recent finishing of the new Pea Ridge Intermediate School complex, there are four current and former Pea Ridge students hard at work transferring furnishings from the old school to the new one.

Veteran graduate Cameron Thompson is in his second year of summer work for the school district and is joined by first year employees Dalton Abraham, Charlie Holliday andChase Thetford.

Seeking to minimize startup costs for the new school, much of the old furnishings are being used in the new school. The more than 20 regular classrooms, multiple offices, and three auxiliary classrooms are being packed up and hauled a few yards away to their new digs.

The completion of the Intermediate School will mean that all students from grades kindergarten through the 12th grade will be attending school in modern, efficient buildings beginning this fall ..
