— Amanda “Mandy” Delese (Young) Bucher, 39, of Bentonville, died July 20, 2012, in Bentonville. She was born on Dec. 22, 1972, in Fayetteville.

Survivors include her husband, Todd Bucher; and two children.

Celebration of Life services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at the Monte Ne Baptist Church (1610 Monte Ne Road) of Rogers.

Audrey Daniels

Audrey Daniels, 67, of Bentonville, died Saturday, July 14, at Mercy MedicalCenter in Rogers.

She was born Aug.

25, 1944, at Koshkonong, Mo., to Leamon FranklinBrazeal and Jessie Elma Phipps Brazeal.

She enjoyed computers and worked at Ozark Beverage for 10 years before her retirement. She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Tracy Brazeal; and one sister, Jessie Mae Bowers.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Sue Daniels, of DeSota, Kan.; two sons, Curtis Lee Daniels of Pineville, Mo., and George Ray Daniels and wife, Kelly, of Shawnee Mission, Kan.; two brothers, Harold Brazeal and George Brazeal, both of Pineville, Mo.; four sisters, Hazel Ray and Marie Howell, both of Koshkonong, Mo.; Lavern Smith of Pineville, and Ruby Cooley of Rogers; and six grandchildren.

Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel.

Ruth Frances Dustin, 88, of Pea Ridge died Tuesday, July 17, at Legacy Village inBentonville. She was born April 10, 1924, in Pittsburg, Mass., to Thomas Joseph Ide and Mary Lavie Ide.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland S. Dustin in 2001; one son, Thomas J. Dustin; and five brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda Ford of Pea Ridge; and one son, William Scott Dustin and wife, Lauretta of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; one sister, Eva Kazanjan of Pittsburgh, Mass.;

seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif.

Fred Calvin Ernst

Fred Calvin Ernst, 79, of Rogers, Ark., died in his home on Friday, July20, 2012.

He was born Jan. 13, 1933, in Torrington, Wyo., to Ben and EleanorHubbard Ernst.

He served in the United States Army from 1948 to 1952 in World War II in the Berlin Air Lift as part of the 759 Military Police Battalion.

In his early years, he worked as a taxi driver, a dance instructor for the Arthur Murray School of Dance, and studied accounting at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Neb. He married Goldie Smith Ernst, in 1953 and purchased a farm and home just east of Rogers in 1954.

Soon after, he helped construct Daisy BB Gun Manufacturing and was employed there for eight years before beginning his 30-year career for the United States Postal Service. During that time he was president of the Letter Carriers Union, and founded the local chapter of the Carrier Alert Program benefiting the elderly of Rogers, Ark., which later became a nationally recognized program.

The Ernsts proudly celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in May of this year. Mr. Ernst’s favoriteactivities were spending time in his garden and farm, listening to Roy Rogers, Johnny Cash and Lawrence Welk, studying family history and amusing his family with his great sense of humor, which included hosting a “lack of talent” show each Christmas.

Survivors include his wife, Goldie, of the home;

their five children, Fredia Wright and husband, JL, of Garfield, Arlene Clark and husband, Tim, of Rogers, Freddie Ernst and wife, Sherrie, of Rogers, Debbie Griffin and husband, Mark, of Bentonville, and John Ernst of Rogers; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Mc-Gill of Folsom, Calif.; and three nieces of California.

Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at Rollins funeral home in Rogers.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the Rollins funeral chapel in Rogers.

Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery near Garfield.

Patsy Diane McAllister

Patsy Diane McAllister, 59, of Pea Ridge, died Thursday, July 19, at herhome. She was born Feb. 3, 1953, at Bentonville, to James Clarence Clanton Jr.

and AnnaVirginia Hickman Clanton.

She graduated from Pea Ridge High School and worked for the Pea Ridge Schools for 27 years before her retirement. She was a devoted wife, mother, and “Mema.”

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Billy Clanton.

Survivors include her husband, Case McAllister of the home; one daughter, Trish Wood and husband, Jeff of Cave Springs; two sons, Mike McAllister and wife, Trinity, and Cory McAllister and wife, Laura, all of Pea Ridge; two sisters, Darlene Burkett and husband, Garry of Pea Ridge and Debbie Austin and husband, Jeff of Las Vegas, Nevada; one brother, Ricky Clanton and wife, Vikki of Rogers; her fatherin-law and mother-in-law, Don and Betty McAllisterof Pea Ridge; and five grandchildren: Alexis, Kelsey, Mason, Kasey and Clancey.

Visitation was 2-4 p.m.

Sunday, July 22, at the funeral home.

Service was at 9 a.m.

Monday, July 23, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge with the Rev.

Jerry Nichols officiating.

Burial was at Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Wanda Ruth McGee

Wanda Ruth McGee, 80, of Monett, Mo., died Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Aurora Care Center in Aurora, Mo. She was born in Beggs, Okla., on April 5, 1932, to Walter C.Wesley and Zelma (Conner) Wesley.

She grew up in Oklahoma and graduated with the class of 1949 in Excelsior, Okla. She was a homemaker for most of her adult life and was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Monett, where she was active in the Ladies Bible class. One of the greatest joys in her life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Wanda Wesley and John James McGee were united in marriage on Oct. 23, 1949, in Cromwell, Okla.

They were blessed with almost 60 years together before his death on Aug.

13, 2008. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Malcolm Wesley.

Survivors include one son, John McGee and wife, Debbie, of Bella Vista, Ark.; three daughters, Virginia “Ginny” Williams, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Valarie Dixon and husband, George, of Okemah, Okla., and Vivian Kennedy, of Monett; two brothers, Nelson Wesley and wife, Dorothy, of Havana, Kan., and Raymond Wesley and wife, Ruth, of Okemah, Okla.; one sister, Leona Simmons, of Moore, Okla.;

one sister-in-law, Mary Ann McGee, of Shawnee, Okla.; nine grandchildren;

17 great-grandchildren;

and a host of extended family and close friends.

Visitation was from 6-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24,at the Buchanan Funeral Home Chapel with minister Walter Buchanan officiating.

Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monett.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fair Haven Children’s Home in care of Buchanan Funeral Home.

Shirley Schell

Shirley M. Schell, 73, of Tulsa, Okla., died Friday, July 20, 2012, at her home inTulsa, following an illness. She was born on Aug.

14, 1938, in Powell, Mo., to Chester Woodardand Oleta (Banks) Laughlin.

She worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita before moving to Tulsa in 1968.

She attended the 10th and Rockford Church of Christ in Tulsa. She enjoyed collecting antiques and Barbies.

She married Donnie Schell on June 2, 1957, in Baxter Springs, Kan.

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Schell;

one son, Brad Schell and his wife, Rebecca, of Tulsa; two sisters, Clyta Brewer and Joyce Botts, both of Wichita, Kan.; two grandchildren, Kara Renee Gourd and her husband, Bruce, and Scott Allen Schell of Tulsa; and one great-grandchild, Breanna Gourd of Tulsa.

Visitation was from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday at the Pea Ridge Church of Christ.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Pea Ridge Church of Christ with minister Tom Burr officiating.

Burial was in Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.

Rufus ‘Jack’ Stewart

Rufus ‘Jack’ Stewart, 84, of Rogers, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at the Concordia Health and Rehab in Bella Vista. He was born July 17, 1928.

He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean conflict and received an honorable discharge. He was a member of the American Legion for over 60 years and a member of the National Chaplains Association.

Survivors include his wife and three children.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2012, at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield, Ark., with military honors.

Curtis R. Young

Curtis R. Young, 56, of Rogers, died July 17, 2012, in Springdale. He was born May 25, 1956, in Monett, Mo., to C.A. “Pete” and Mary Juline Gipson Young.

He retired in June 2011.

He was a system’s analyst for the City of Rogers Water Department, where he worked for 25 years.

He was a member of the Faith Builders Church in Rogers. He lived a selfless, powerful life, loving his family and friends dearly and always enjoying their company. He was a blessing to his church along with anyone that knew him, always helping people in any way he could. He liked to hunt, fish and laugh out loud.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Eloise Good.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Murray Young, of the home; two sons, Tony Young and wife, Samantha, of Pea Ridge, and Michael Young of Decatur and his fiancee, Emily Hendrickson, of Centerton; one daughter, Sara Young of Pea Ridge and her fiance, James Merritt, of Aurora, Mo.; one brother, Kent Young and wife, Sharon, of Monett, Mo.; and 12 grandchildren.

Memorial services were at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the Faith Builders Church, with Pastor Tim Horton officiating.
