— Jacob ‘Jake’ Allen Wages

Jacob “Jake” Allen Wages, 23, died Friday, July 6, 2012, in Joplin, Mo. He wasborn June 28, 1989, in Rogers, Ark.

He graduated from Neosho High School in2008 and lived most of hislife in Gravette, Ark., and Joplin, Mo. He was currently employed at Aegis in Joplin, and was an avid hunter, motorcycle and dirt bike enthusiast, and played football and baseball.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Olen Dyer;

and step-paternal grandfather, Estis Ragland.

Survivors include hisparents, Tim and DiAnna Wages, Neosho, and Jackie and David Thomas, Pea Ridge, Ark.; two sisters, Sarah Wages, Pea Ridge, Ark., and Jodi Bond, Neosho; two brothers, Nicholas Wages, Lewistown, Ill., and Austin Bond, Neosho;

maternal grandparents, Faye and Al Blair, Gravette, Ark.; paternal grandparents, Jim and Euella Powell, Watts, Okla., and Rogerand Lisa Wages, Fayetteville, Ark.; two nieces and a nephew; and step-paternal grandmother, Janette Ragland, Goodman.

Visitation was 6-7 p.m.

Tuesday, July 10, at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Splitlog Baptist Church, Goodman, with the Rev.

Chad Pendergraft officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Jake’s memory be made to Benton County Sunshine School, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
