Reynolds-Peronia wed

— Jessica Ann Reynolds and James Douglas Peronia were united in marriage on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, at First Baptist Church of Fort Smith. The ceremony was officiated by pastor John Clayton. Music for the ceremony was provided by FBC Fort Smith and a solo by Iva Lowe. The bride and groom, along with their parents, hosted a buffet mid-evening meal and reception at Elm Grove Community Center. The music and announcements were by Ryan Thetford and photography was by Gina Easterling, both of Pea Ridge.

The bride is the daughter of Connie Reynolds of Pea Ridge.

She is the granddaughter of the late James and Vivian Stout of Pea Ridge.

The groom is the son of Doug Peronia of Avoca and Mitzi Peronia of Pea Ridge. He is the grandson of J.W. and Jo Ella Clemons of Alpena, Ark., and of Betty Peronia of Jonesboro, Ark. and the late Duffy Peronia, also of Jonesboro.

The bride wore a sterling white gown with ruched strapless bodice, sweetheart neckline, beads at the waist and an A-line skirt. She carried a bouquet of cobalt blue roses, white roses and white trumpet lilies. The groom wore his Army National Guard Uniform adorned with his ribbons and patches of achievement.

Iva Lowe of Bryant, Ark., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Melanie Davis of Stigler, Okla., and Andrea Schmidt of McPherson, Kan., the sister of the groom.

Nathan Haile of Garfield served as best man. Groomsmen included Levi Peronia of Pea Ridge, the brother of the groom, and Tracy Schmidt of McPherson, Kan., the brother-in-law of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of Pea Ridge High School. She is attending the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith, until December 2012, when she plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

The groom, also a graduate of Pea Ridge High School, is attending the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith, until May 2013, when he plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. In addition, the groom is a soldier in the Alpha Firing Battery 1st Battalion of 142nd Fires Brigade out of Bentonville in the Arkansas Army National Guard.

Following the honeymoon in Nashville, Tenn., the couple will reside in Fort Smith.
