Library Notes: Now two Story Hours at library

— I hope all of you have found a way to stay cool during this hot weather. The heat seems to be the reason many of you have not been to the library.

Let’s hope this heat breaks soon so you can get back to the library.

The Story Hour on Wednesday and Thursday continue to draw kids and their moms.

Thanks to Ms. Peggy and Miss Hannah for doing such a good job. This week the theme was circus animals. The kids made some very colorful lion, monkey, etc. masks. If your children or grandchildren have not yet attended a story time, bring them in.

The library is very fortunate to have so many people who contribute time, money, etc. to help our library grow and function. A big “thank you” goes to Sharon and Derry Camp for their continued support of the library. The Camps will be auctioning several boxes of books at their auction barn on Thursday, July 5. The proceeds go to the building fund.

We have some new children’s books going on the shelves this week, as well as some teen/young adult editions. Placed an order last week for some Christian fiction and romance books.

These books should arrive in the next 10 days or so. Stop by and ask to see the list and get your name on the reserve list for a good read.

Have a safe and happy July 4. Please remember the burnban in Pea Ridge and Benton County.
