Pauline Ruddick celebrated her 95th birthday with family and friends on Dec. 29 at Garfield Church of Christ.
Mrs. Ruddick was born Pauline Schell on Dec. 29, 1916, in Powell, Mo., to John and Sarah Schell. The family moved to Pea Ridge the following year. She graduated from Pea Ridge High School and later married Harry Ruddick, now deceased.
Mrs. Ruddick owned and operated Pauline’s Beauty Shop in downtown PeaRidge for many years and retired in 1983.
The Ruddicks had four children: Glenda Burleson ofPea Ridge, Gary Ruddick of Bakersfield, Calif., Johnny Ruddick of Gravette and Kent Ruddick of Rogers, nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
