Pea Ridge Colors Day 2012 candidates announced

Hannah Liliya Hargiss, 17, the daughter of Mike and Liz Hargiss and granddaughter of Jim and Elen Wright, is a lifelong resident of Pea Ridge.

The 5’7” senior has seven siblings. She belongs to the National Honor Society, varsity basketball and is a class officer. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, listeningto music and is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

After high school, she plans to study dental hygiene or speech therapy.

She will be escorted by Ethan Michael Higgins.

Alexis Jasey McAllister, 17, the daughter of Mike and Trinity McAllister and granddaughter of Case and Patsy McAllister, TamaraLangford and Terry Moore, is a native of Pea Ridge and has one brother.

The 5’7” senior works at Baker’s Shoes.

After high school she plans to go to nursing school. She will be escorted by Colby Schooley.

Micah Shantel Morgan, 18, the daughter of Shannon and Daryla Morgan, has lived in Pea Ridge since fifth-grade and has one brother, Dalton Morgan.

Miss Morgan is a member of the National Honor Society, plays basketball and attends Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs.

After graduation, she plans to attend University of Central Arkansas and become a physical therapist.

She will be escorted by Ryan Roughton.

Kaylee Nivens, 17, of Pea Ridge, the daughter of Danny and Michelle Nivens and granddaughter of Gary and Lois Young and Patty Dial, has one sibling.

The 5’3” blonde senior plays basketball and runs cross country and track.

She likes baking, reading, running and shopping with her mother.

Her future plans are toattend college and eventually teach. She will be escorted by Chris Davis

Madison Rizley, 17, of Garfield, the daughter of William and Shanna Rizley and granddaughter of Cliff and Carol Rizley and Ted and Rita Jilson has two siblings.

She works at Punky’s Place childcare and is involved in journalism/yearbook and Future Farmers of America (FFA).

Miss Rizley plans to attend Crowder College to become a nurse. She will be escorted by Ricardo Schneider.

Jordan Alisha Winn, 17, the daughter Richie and Renee Winn and the granddaughter of Dickie and Brenda Winn and Becky Teague, has lived in Pea Ridge her whole life. She has two sisters, Taylor and Blakelee Winn, who also attend Pea Ridge schools.

She’s involved in varsity basketball, softball, National Honor Society (NHS) and student council senior representative. She loves reading, hanging with friends and family and attends First Baptist Church Garfield.

She will be escorted byDakota Woodward.

Kayla Wright, 17, the daughter of James Jr. and Stephanie Wright and granddaughter of James Sr.

and Elen Wright, is originally from Visalia, Calif., but has lived in Pea Ridge since the age of 3 and has three siblings.

She is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, basketball,softball, golf, cross country, is a class officer, member of SEEK (the gifted and talented program) and works at Old Navy. She also plays piano and is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Miss Wright plans to attend college and become a kindergarten teacher. She will be escorted by Joel Thomas.
