Water line upgraded

PEA RIDGE — Jake Wagner operated the mini-excavator Monday while Ronnie Hicks and Sy Kirby manned the shovels in the trench under the watchful eye of Mike Nida.

The Water/Wastewater Department employees were replacing old, worn water lines with new lines along the north side of McCulloch Street. They cut a trench through Lane Drive to reach the lines beneath the pavement. Within the next month, the work should be completed including connecting to the residential lines and restoring the landscape.
