COLLEGE HONOR LISTS

Arkansas Tech

RUSSELLVILLE - Several Pea Ridge and Garfield students were named to the Arkansas Tech Dean’s list for the fall of 2011. They are: Kira Anne Coonce, Garfield;

and Elizabeth Marie Ash (4.0), Ariel Briana Ray Hall, Aaron Kyle Meredith (4.0), Kelsey D’Ann Parmenter, Brandon Michael Thompson, Kathryn Diane Ward and Maria Camila Yepez (4.0), all of Pea Ridge.

A student must achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher and complete at least 12 semester hours to be named to the Dean’sList. A total of 1,624 Arkansas Tech students achieved that distinction during fall 2011, an increase of 4.8 percent over fall 2010 and an increase of 8.3 percent over fall 2009.

College of the Ozarks

Culea Abraham, of Pea Ridge, was named to College of the Ozarks Dean’s List. To qualify for the Dean’s list, students must maintain a 3.6 minimum grade point average during the semester and carry at least 15 credit hours. Abraham is a 2008 graduate of Pea Ridge High School and is the daughter ofRuss and Lisa Abraham.

Henderson State University

ARKADELPHIA - Cheryl Johnson, of Garfield, was listed on the Henderson State University Dean’s List for the Fall 2011 semester. She achieved a 4.0 grade point average for the entire semester.

Williams Baptist College

WALNUT RIDGE - Brittany Morgan and Natalie Morgan, both of Pea Ridge, were named to the Williams Baptist College for the 2011 fall semester. The Dean’s List is comprised of those with at least a 3.5 GPA.
