Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include: Monday, Feb. 13

6:45 a.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge High School, found a janitor who said the door was unlocked and alarm already activated when she came to work. The building was checked and found to be secure.

11:40 a.m. Missing child reported by a woman on Wood Street, who soon reported the child was found.

5:45 p.m. Two boys, ages 6 and 9, locked out of their house by accident.

7 p.m. Physical disturbance reported at a residence on East Pickens Street between two sisters, ages 15 and 17.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

12 a.m. A 28-year-old male residentof Smith Street reported his ex-girlfriend was calling him harassing him.

Police spoke with her and told her not to call, but she continued to call.

12:20 p.m. While on routine patrol, found a door open at 460 Smith Street.

The building was secured.

3:28 p.m. A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Brice Knight, 19, Pea Ridge, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and citation of Knight for fictitious tags, no proof of insurance and failure to register. Police confiscated a glass smoking pipe and plastic bag of a green leafy substance and the license tags.The vehicle was towed. Knight was booked into the Benton County Jail.

Thursday, Feb. 16

3:50 a.m. A disturbance at a residence on St. Clair Street resulted in the arrest of Roy L. Corshia, 30, of Rogers, on a warrant from Berryville.

1:16 p.m. Received a report ofharassing communications from a resident on East Harris Street.

1:30 p.m. Criminal mischief involving a broken glass pane in a door of the Pea Ridge Historical Society building on the Intermediate School campus.

4:45 p.m. Assisted BCSO by arresting Freddy Medina, 21, Pea Ridge, on a warrant.

7:24 p.m. A two-vehicle accident on St. Clair Street involving Julie Vehige, 52, Pea Ridge, who reported she backed into a parked vehicle owned by Janie Harmon, Bentonville.

Friday, Feb. 17

8:49 p.m. Alarm at a residence on Greenwood Cove, police found the back door open, but the owner said he had left it unlocked and the dog apparently opened the door.

9:05 p.m. Alarm Pea Ridge High School, an employee was on site. The building was secure.

Saturday, Feb. 18

2:50 p.m. While on patrol, police saw two dogs running loose and then to a residence on Washburn. the dogs’ owner,Tracy M. Sprowl, 31, Pea Ridge, was cited twice for dog at large.

2:50 p.m. Katrina Lynn Callison, 27, Bentonville, was arrested for DWI-drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia as the result of a traffic stop on It’ll Do Road after a first responder reported a female passed out behind the wheel of a van with a mail carrier sign on it. She became alert and began driving east on East McNelly Road. She was also cited for two counts of failure to signal and no seat belt. There was mail in the vehicle that was transferred to the postmaster and assistant postmaster of Pea Ridge Post Office before the vehicle was impounded.

4:20 p.m. A resident of Green Street reported two bikes taken from her house about two weeks ago. One of thebikes was found at a residence on Pike Street.

7:40 p.m. Assisted Benton County Sheriff’s deputies at a verbal disturbance at a residence on Dove Road.

Sunday, Feb. 19

12:57 p.m. Alarm at a residence on Lynn Drive.

Monday, Feb. 20

1 a.m. Alarm at Sonic; a window was found ajar.

12:07 p.m. Verbal disturbance at a residence on West Pickens Road between a married couple; the man agreed to leave the premises while the wife moved her belongings out of the house.

9:58 p.m. Alfonzo E. Williams, 27, Pea Ridge, was arrested on warrants from Springdale and cited for driving on a suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance and fictitious tags. He was transported to Lowell where he was turned over to Springdale Police.
