Patricia Boyle

Patricia Boyle, 56, of Rogers, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Nov. 5, 1955, in Harrison, Ark., to Hershel and Joan Greenhaw.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hershel Greenhaw; and her brother, Wayne Greenhaw.

Survivors include her husband, Bud Boyle of the home; mother, Joan Hobbs of Georgia; two sons, Brian Boyle and wife, Desi, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Tony Boyle and wife, Jennifer, of Pea Ridge, Ark.;

daughter, Michelle Lunceford and husband, Justin, of Rogers, Ark.; sister, Billie Ann Hobbs of Georgia; a nephew; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation was from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at Big Creek Assembly of God in Vendor, Ark.

Funeral services were at p.m. Monday at the church, with Jimmy Greenhaw officiating.

Burial was in Smith Cemetery in Vendor, Ark., under the direction of Beards Funeral Chapel, 855 S. Happy Hollow Road, Fayetteville, Ark. 479-521-8551.

Esther Carmen Clark

Esther Carmen Clark, 91, of the Jacket, Mo., community, died Feb. 3, at MercyMedical Center in Rogers.

She was born Dec. 26, 1920, in Seguin, Texas, to Louis BrackstonHoggett and Belle Tyler Hoggett.

She grew up in south Texas and also lived and attended school in Bandera.

She loved to quilt, journal, garden, cook, write gospel music, was a gifted musician playing the piano, guitar and violin. She lived at her home in the Jacket, Mo., area for the past 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Weldon Clark, one brother, L.B. Hoggett and one sister, Sibyl Chapman.

Survivors include a son, Les Clark and wife, Sue, of Modesto, Calif.; two daughters, Carmen Garrett and husband, Ron, and Janis Greer and husband, Mike, both of Jacket, Mo.; a sister, Lurline Davenport of Pea Ridge; four grandchildren;

13 great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews and in-laws.

Visitation was from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, atSisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with Rev. Frank Arnall officiating.

Charles Henry Dowler, 67, of Pea Ridge, died Monday, Feb. 6, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

He was born Aug. 17, 1944, in Zalma, Mo., to Charles Henry Dowler and Goldie Marie Williams.

He was a diesel mechanic with Delp Inc. in Springdale. He was an Army veteran and a member of Christ Church in Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife Violet Marie Briggs Dowler of the home; three sons; one brother; and three sisters.

No services are planned at this time.

Burial will be in Fayetteville National Cemetery at a later date.

Kyla Dawn Downing

Kyla Dawn Downing, 30, of Springdale, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

She was born May 3, 1981, in Denver, Colo., to DeWayne RollinFlower and Clela Renee Welp Flower.

She graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1999. She enjoyed quilting.

She was preceded in death by her father, De-Wayne Flower, and her paternal grandmother, Mernie Flower.

Survivors include mother and step-father, Clela Eggebrecht and Chuck of Bella Vista; a brother, Jacob Flower of Garfield; two step-brothers, Ty Eggebrecht of Centerton and Chauncy Eggebrecht of Fayetteville; one stepsister, Samantha Eggebrecht of Gravette; maternal grandparents, Vencil and Shirley Welp of Strasburg, Colo.; maternal greatgrandmother, Elizabeth Welp of Wray, Colo.; and aunts and uncles including Arliene and Mike Yarberry of Pea Ridge.

Cremation arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ronald D. Glasgow

Ronald D. Glasgow Sr., 76, of Garfield, Ark., died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012. He was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Cleves, Ohio, to Raymond Finice Glasgow and Margaret Virginia O’Neal.

He attended Taylor High School in North Bend, Ind., and received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He married Patricia Vest, whom he met in the first grade, in 1955.

She bore him two sons and a daughter. She passed away in 2005 after a long battle with cancer. In 2008, he married Charleen Nordsell, a family friend and member of his church.

He retired from Heinkel Corporation in 1995. In retirement his stated goal was to serve people, which he did amply by working with Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Woman’s Shelter and other charities. He was also active in Grace United Methodist Church of Rogers, where he served on various committees. More recently Ron became involved in NOMADS, a nationwide group affiliated with the Methodist church which provides volunteer labor for construction and repairs for churches, children’s homes and disaster rebuilding. He also made several trips to Mexico and Costa Rica to help build living quarters for impoverished people.

Survivors include his wife, Charleen; a son, Ronald Glasgow Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Mandeville, La.; a son, Raymond Glasgow and wife, Sharron, of Panama City, Fla.; and daughter, Jill Glasgow of Tampa, Fla.; a stepson, Theodore Nordsell of Rogers; a stepdaughter, Nanette Mika and her husband, Tim, of Rogers; a stepdaughter, Linda Jones and her husband, Eben, of Springdale; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

His step-grandchildren affectionately called him “Grand Ron.”

A memorial service for Ron will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, at Grace United Methodist Church, 1801 S. Dixieland Road in Rogers, beginning at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to NOMADS, Habitat for Humanity or the Women’s Shelter of Rogers.

Lillie E. Hackett

Lillie E. Hackett, 95, of Scottsbluff, Neb., diedWednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at her home.

She was born June 28, 1916, in rural Minatare, Neb .,to Eugene and Maud (Richards) Townsend.

She made her choice to serve the Lord in her youth.

She was married to John W. Hackett Sept. 9, 1940, in Gering, Neb., and they made their home in Rawlins, Wyoming. They lived in Arizona and Missouri before she came to Scottsbluff to live with her sister 10 years ago.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters and one grandchild.

Survivors include her two brothers, Raymond Townsend of Scottsbluff and Bert Townsend of Powell, Wyoming; a sister, Fern Townsend of Scottsbluff, Neb.; three sons, John Lee Roy (Leisa) Hackett of Washburn, Mo., Ralph Dean (Lorinda) Hackett of Bentonville, Ark., and Richard Ray (Lorelei) Hackett of Washburn, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; numerous greatgrandchildren and great -great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Stanley Morrison and Edwina Carlson officiating.

A memorial has been established to Prairie Haven Hospice.

Graveside service was set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, at Antioch Cemetery north of Pea Ridge, with Esther Schraw and Glenda Pickering officiating and under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

Lucille Lynch

Lucille Lynch, 88, of Garfield, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Katherine’s Placein Fayetteville.

She was born Nov. 13, 1923, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Aden Earl andHazel Dale White Barrett.

She worked for the school system and enjoyed camping, puzzle books, playing bingo and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Lynch; her two daughters, Linda Lynch and Barbara Palone; her mother, Hazel Barrett; her father, Aden Barrett; a sister, Ruby Gilpen; and a great-grandson, John Lackey.

Survivors include one son, Charles Lynch and wife, Glenda, of Prairie Grove; two daughters, Teresa Gregory and husband, Donnie, of Garfield and Sharon Ulrich of Springdale; one brother, Aden Earl Barrett and wife, Marilyn, of Norman, Okla.;

18 grandchildren; 41 greatgrandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 3-5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, in Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, with the Rev. Bill Williams officiating.

Burial was in the Friendship Cemetery.

Cora Lee Myers

Cora Lee Myers, 77, of, Garfield, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at New Hope Healthand Rehab in Rogers.

She was born March 12, 1934, at Pampa, Texas, to Lee Coble and DellaMarie Lovern Coble.

She moved to the area in 1978 from Tyler, Texas, to make her home. She was a homemaker, a machine operator for Union Carbide in Rogers and was a Pentecostal.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lynn Myers and two brothers, Clyde and Claude Coble.

Survivors include a son Dennis Myers of Garfield; a daughter, Karen Owens of Lowell; a step-daughter, Lydia Ann Jowers of Brownfield, Texas; by her ex-husband, Harold Myers of Garfield;

six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was at 10 a.m. Monday in Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield with Rev. Johnny Henry officiating.

James Norvell

James “Jim” Norvell, 82, of Garfield, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in Jamestown Nursing & Rehab facility in Rogers, Ark. He was born in Terry County, Texas, on Sept. 23, 1929, to Ruben and Lillian (Moore) Norvell.

He joined the U.S. Army in 1951 and served time in Germany during his twoyear enlistment. He was a retired carpenter.

He married the love of his life, Marie (French Haggard), Jan. 3, 1973, inSeguin, Texas. They were married for 16 years and lived in North Little Rock, Ark. After Marie’s passing, Jim moved to Garfield, Ark., where he lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Towanda and Percy Barnett, for the next 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marie; two sisters, Towanda Barnett and Carrie Nell Henry; and a nephew, John Norvell.

Survivors include two brothers, Kelly Norvell of Aransas Pass, Texas, and Philip Norvell of San Antonio, Texas; and his nieces and nephews and their families, Charles Barnett, Bella Vista, Ark., Jerry Barnett, Elkins, Ark., Cherlene Artman, Springfield, Mo., Linda Ausmus, Houston, Texas, Walter Henry, New Mexico, Karen Henry, Sharon Noe and Debbie Longoria, all of San Antonio, Texas.

Services for Jim will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with a visitation preceding the service from noon to 2 p.m. at the chapel.

Justin Wayne Stewart

Justin Wayne Stewart, 53, of Garfield died Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

He was born July 24, 1958, in Blackwell, Okla., to Robert Louis Stewart and Martha Ann Wynn Stewart.

He was an oil field roughneck in Wyoming. He was owner and operator of JWS Appliance Repair for two years and was a PFC in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his infant brother Adam Stewart.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Stewart of the home; his parents, Bob and Martha of Garfield; a son, Adam Stewart of Casper, Wyo.; four daughters, Jennifer Shull and husband Jamie of Shirley, Ark., Susan Smedley and husband Justin of Rogers, Hannah Stewart of Garfield and Crystal Fabrizio of Pea Ridge; two sisters, Alice Brown and husband John of Garfield and Suzanne Gates and husband Bill of Rogers; and 12 grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are with Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
