Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include: Monday, Jan. 30

5:08 p.m. A physical disturbance at a residence on Hallack Lane between a 17-year-old female, her mother and grandmother was resolved.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

6:35 a.m. Police cited Trevin Alan Tripodi, 21, for two counts of dog at large after his dogs were running loose on South Harvey Wakefield.

11 a.m. A 23-year-old woman reported that when she dropped her 4-year-old son off to his father, the man threatened to not return the boy.

Police contacted him and the child was returned within two hours.

3:20 p.m. A resident on Gen. Franz Siegel reported a dogs running loose at tacked her dog. The dogs were captured and the dog’s owner, Alicia Parsons, 34, Pea Ridge, was cited for two counts of dogs at large. She was also wanted on a warrant from Springdale. She was transported to Lowell to turn over to Springdale police.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

10:10 a.m. A resident of North Davis Street reported a burglary in progress telling police he came home and saw someone crawling through a window into the house. Police found a 16-yearold male sitting on the back porch cleaning a marijuana pipe. The youth was turned over to Juvenile Detention Center.

10:05 a.m. A resident on O.D. Bancroft reported two stray dogs running loose.

Thursday, Feb. 2

3:45 p.m. The guardian of a 9-yearold boy reported he had been bullied on the school bus by an older student.

4:25 p.m. A resident on Turner Way reported suspicious circumstances involving mail being opened.

7:49 p.m. A resident on North Curtis Avenue reported her neighbor was listening to his television too loudly. She was advised the situation was a civil, not criminal, matter.

11:11 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on South Curtis Avenuein response to a welfare check for a child in a house with inebriated adults.

During the investigation, Bob Sykes, 37, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. The mother of the child in question, Amy Salkill, 36, of Pea Ridge, was arrested on an outstanding Rogers warrant, taken to Rogers, cited, and returned to her house.The child was determined to be safe.

Friday, Feb. 3

9:50 a.m. A noise complaint was reported by a resident of John W. Montgomery who reported that his neighbor, an 18-year-old male, was turning up his stereo very loudly when he drives by the house. Police spoke to the man and asked him to turn down the noise.

10:50 a.m. A resident on E. Pickens Road reported dump trucks speeding.

3:40 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported involving Eugene Treece, 77, of Pea Ridge, who said he backed out of his driveway and into daughter’s (Kelley Merrill) car.

6:21 p.m. An alarm at a residence on Hickory Street. The residence was secure.

7:34 p.m. A 55-year-old resident of D.J. Duvall Drive reported her 16-yearold grandson missing saying he had left the house riding his bicycle and she could not find him. He was later located safe.

9:45 p.m. Three windows were reported broken in a school bus owned by Berryville while it was parked at Pea Ridge High School. Two boys - ages 12 and 15 - were cited into Juvenile Court Monday morning after they were identified as a result of the investigation.

Saturday, Feb. 4

10:05 a.m. A breaking and entering was reported by a resident of Hutchinson Street.

2:40 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on South Harvey Wakefield Street to check the welfare of a woman, but no one was home.The caller was unavailable for contact.

3:10 p.m. A 21-year-old female from Rogers complained that she couldn’t get her son from his 23-year-old fatherof Pea Ridge. The incident was determined to be a civil matter.

3:15 p.m. A resident of Richards Street reported his house was just egged. At 11 p.m., he called again reporting that two frozen water bottles had just been thrown at his garage door. Police were unable to contact the suspect.

6:40 p.m. Agency assist for the ambulance at a residence on East Hayes Street.

9:15 p.m. Received a report of a 12-year-old girl who said she received text from a man claiming to be at the City Park and wanting to have sex with her.

She reported she and her sister went to the park, saw someone dressed in black in the bathrooms and were scared and left.

Sunday, Feb. 5

1:18 a.m. A one-vehicle accident on Ryan Road south of Slack Street involving a car driven by Jayce M. Simer, 17, of Pea Ridge. She and her passenger, Rosia Couch, 18, of Pea Ridge, were transported to Mercy Medical Center by Pea Ridge ambulance. According to the police report, the driver apparently lost control of the car and ran into a tree.

The young ladies were extricated by Pea Ridge firefighters.

4:58 a.m. A 38-year-old female resident of East Pickens Road reported her 13- and 15-year-old daughters missing saying she hadn’t seen them since 7 p.m. Saturday. At 6:30 p.m. Sunday, she reported they had returned home at 8 a.m. and said they had fallen asleep at a friend’s house.

5:18 a.m. Assisted Pea Ridge Ambulance at a residence on Chitwood Street.

10:57 a.m. A woman from Maryland called reporting that a man in Pea Ridge had a cell phone she had given him and he said it was stolen. Upon contacting the man, Christopher Daniel Ammons, 32, police discovered he had an outstanding felony warrant out of Virginia. Virginia Police said they would not extradite west of the Mississippi River.The man reported he had left the cell phone at a residence in Decatur and he would retrieve it and mail it backto her.

1:11 p.m. A resident of St. Clair Street reporter her 12-year-old daughter was being harassed. Upon contacting the suspect, another 12-year-old girl, she reported being harassed by the reporting party. Both sets of parents agreed to monitor phone and computer use.

2:55 p.m. A two-vehicle motor-vehicle accident at North Davis Street and East Pickens Road between Sharrie. A.

Frost, 54, Pea Ridge, and David L. Dugger, 56, Bella Vista. Frost was cited for failure to yield.

3 p.m. A resident of Garfield reported that a Nook E Reader she had bought for her 11-year-old grandson was missing from his Patton Street residence.

Monday, Feb. 6

12:15 a.m. While on patrol, police observed a motor scooter with a burned-out tail light traveling on Slack Street just west of Ross Salvage.Three persons were cited: a 17-year-old girl who was walking nearby for curfew violation, the 16-year-old male passenger for no helmet or eye protection and curfew violation and Dalton James Rogers, 19, of Rogers, for no operator’s certificate, no proof of insurance and no helmet.

12:40 a.m. An alarm at a residence on East Harris Street. The residence appeared to be secure.

8:30 p.m. A disturbance not in progress at a residence on Ash Court was reported by a man who said three men came to his door claiming one had been assaulted. The investigation revealed that a 19-year-old male was trying to run away, had hit another man, but no one wanted to press charges.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

12:20 a.m. A resident reported a domestic disturbance at a residence on Turner Way which resulted in the arrest of Jeremy Wachtel, 35, Pea Ridge, for interfering with emergency communications and felony domestic battering.
