Darrel and JoAnn Van Roekel will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary this year.
They were married on Dec.16, 1962, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and lived there many years.
The couple currently resides in Pea Ridge.
Their children include Shelly (Dan) Pope of Conroy, Iowa; Tricia (Shawn) Brown of Norman, Okla.; Marla(Pat) Lee of Fayetteville, Ark.; and Darcy (Merrill) White of Pea Ridge, Ark., along with 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Along with a card shower, the couple will celebrate their anniversary with an open house hosted by their daughters.
