Library Notes: Story hour to continue

— Good News! We will have a Wednesday Story Hour beginning Sept. 5.

Ms. Peggy has graciously agreed to be our reader.

She will read and have a craft time between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Be sure to tell anyone with children not in school.

Last week the library was happy to receive several non-fiction books on American Indians. Hope to have these available for check-out this week.

Have also received a few new Christian fiction books.

Cinda and Lee are keeping busy shelving books and removing fiction books that have not been checked out in the last five years.

Anything deemed a classic will be kept regardless of how long it has been on the shelf without being read.

The work these volunteers do is certainly appreciated.

They sure help to make the library run smoothly.

Now that school is back in session, please remember to drive with extra care. Children don’t always look before trying to cross the street.

The members of the Library Board and I want to express our sympathy to the family of David Bradley who passed away Aug. 17.

The donations the library has received in the past few weeks are much appreciated. Thank you for helpingthe library grow.

See you at the library!
