— Amanda “Mandy” Delese (Young) Bucher, 39, of Bentonville, died July 20, 2012, in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Dec. 22, 1972, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Donna Weber and Jim Young.

She loved to cook, garden, was an artist who enjoyed painting, a devoted Christian and always helped those in need.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Young; and grandparents, Ferrell and Lavigna Young.

Survivors include her parents, Donna and Doug Weber of Rogers; husband, Todd Bucher, and son, TJ Bucher, both of Bentonville; in-laws, Kenneth and Trish McIntosh; a daughter, Emmie and husband, Matt Coleman, and grandson, Jayden, of Pea Ridge; sisters and their spouses, April (Garrison) and Fred Clarke of Billings, Mo., Erin and Kevin Wyrick of Camdenton, Mo.; grandmother, Margie Beasley of Springdale; five nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service was held last week.

Raymond Lee Garrison Jr.

Raymond Lee Garrison Jr., 73, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at his home in Bella Vista.

He was born on April 29, 1939, in Memphis, Tenn., to Raymond Lee Garrison and Madge Borum Garrison.

He was raised and educated in Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed as a real estate broker in Arkansas for Cooper Communities and Fairfield Communities. He was a former manager of the Bentonville Chamber of Commerce. He loved fishing and golfing with the Nebraska Group.

He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Stephanie Sue Garrison.

Survivors include his mother, Madge Garrison of Bella Vista, Ark.; one son, Randy Garrison (Laura) of Rogers, Ark.; daughters, Gloria Spalter (Ron) of Cave Springs, Ark., and Lisa Nichols (Scott) of Pea Ridge, Ark.; one brother, Jerry Garrison (Lennice) of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Jennifer Lee Barber (Nathan) of Russellville, Ark.;

and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug.

10, 2012, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mildred Cooper Chapel or charity of donor’s choice.

Wesley Lee Short

Wesley Lee Short, 74, of Rogers, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at the Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonville, Ark.

He was born in Little Rock, Ark., on Feb. 17, 1938, to Jesse Lee Short and Jewell (Berry) Short.

He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge.

On July 1, 1994, he married Nita (Monson) in Rogers, Ark. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years and enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, boating and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ronald Short; and one sister, Carole Short.

Survivors include his wife, Nita of the home;

three sons, Wesley Short of California, Shane Short of Colorado and Cody Short of Little Rock, Ark.;

two daughters, Debbie Quintero of California and Jennifer Enlow of Fayetteville, Ark.; one brother, Harry Short and wife, Barb, of Pea Ridge, Ark.; two sisters, Sandra Gantt and husband, Henry, of Texas, and Judy Short Denio and her partner, Ed Brewer, of Georgia; his special uncle, Louie Short of Mayflower, Ark.; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Inurnmet services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug.

8, 2012, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (700 Government Ave.) in Fayetteville, Ark., with Marine Corps honors.

Eric Stacy

Eric Stacy, 49, died July 29, 2012, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

He was born Sept. 6, 1962, in Bentonville, to Pete and Dorothy Stacy.

He owned and operated E.J. & C. Excavations.

He loved to hunt, fish and above all he loved to spend time playing with his three beautiful grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin “Pete” and Dorothy Belle Stacy; four brothers, Jimmy Stacy, Curtis “Buger” Stacy, Garry Stacy and Robert “Bubbie” Stacy; two sisters, Sue Goates and Janis Goates; and his beloved son, Jeremy Garey Stacy.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marcell Stacy;

daughter, Courtney Stacy;

his daughter-in-law, Nickie Stacy; three grandchildren, Cameo, Connor and Melyia; father and motherin-law, Billy and Janet Williams; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Debbie Farrar; brothers and sisters, Everett and Barbara King, Darrell and Cindy Stacy, Linda and Dean Denny, Randy Stacy, Ricky and Michelle Stacy; and many friends and loved ones.

Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Parks Cemetery in Winslow.

Jack A. Wilkey

Jack Arthur Wilkey, 63, died July 29, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born on Dec. 6, 1948, in Emporia, Kan.

He grew up in Herington, Kan., where he graduated from Herington High School in 1968. He worked at the Iowa Beef Processors in Emporia, the U.S.

Department of Agriculture in California and Pennsylvania, and owned a restaurant in Garfield called Delishi O So. He resided the last few years in Seligman, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wilkey.

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Warner Wilkey of Rogers; three children, Shane Wilkey of Colorado, Shannan Bergen of Florida and Ryan Wilkey of Florida; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Alexander, Maven and Lauryn Wilkey, Brett, Paige, Callie and Brock Bergen; and his sister, Linda Debus of Ottawa, Kan.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home.
