Fireworks planned for fair; sponsors sought

— A fireworks display is planned for the Fourth of July at the city’s annual fair and carnival.

Members of Beta Alpha of ESA have booked a carnival for the annual community fair and need the community’s help to provide a fireworks display on the July 4, according to president Karen Kitterman.

“The carnival will be thelargest ever contracted with and will be held July 4-7 at the Pea Ridge high school grounds,” Kitterman said. “Beta Alpha of ESA are asking the community for donations to help provide a nice firework show. Beta Alpha is proud that once again a carnival will be provided and want to make sure they want to come back next year.”

“They are asking that thewhole community and surrounding areas help make this event memorable for all,” she said.

Beta Alpha survives solely on donations and community involvement.

Beta Alpha members appreciate all the community does to help make all of their events special.

Beta Alpha of ESA invites any and all (men and women) who want to join ESA to ask about membership.

“Let’s face it. These days, lives are busier than ever.

Work and family commitments often leave people feeling as if there is no time for themselves, let alone time to volunteer. By joining ESA as a community or individual member, that can be changed,” Kitterman said.

ESA is an international service organization comprised of members whoshare a passion for community service.

“ESA is a special organization. One where individuals can learn more and do more to make the world a better place,” B.J. Clark, executive director, said.

“By bringing good people together to do good things, miracles are possible.”

Beta Alpha is one of the smallest chapters in the state and they want to grow. So much for thecommunity is done and members would love to have more of the community members involved in all that is done, from the Easter egg hunt to the Christmas parade.
