Family reading night set

The first family reading night, for intermediate school families, will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at Pea Ridge Intermediate School.

Book fairs coming

Pea Ridge Primary has a Scholastic Book Fair coming up from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, through Wednesday, Oct. 19, and 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct.

18, for parent teacher conferences. The theme for this book fair is “Reading is Out of this World.” Also, from 1-2 p.m. Oct. 12 - 14, will be the “Grands are Out of this World” event for students’ grandparents. Volunteers are needed. For information, call Mrs. Allen at 451-8183.

Pea Ridge Intermediate is having a book fair from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, through Wednesday, Oct. 19, except Oct. 18, which is parent teacher conferences.

They will be open from 12 - 6 p.m. with refreshments being served and drawings for $100 worth of Scholastic books. For information, call Ms. Dede Brock at 451-1555.

Penny collection

Fifth-grade students in Pea Ridge will be collecting pennies to be donated to the Ryan Mondy Foundation. The goal is to collect 2,100 pennies by Friday, Oct. 21. The pennies will be taken to A D.A.S.H. to Remember, Saturday, Oct. 22, and donated.
