Many books for sale at library

Wednesday, September 28, 2011

— I took a couple of days off last week so I could spend time with my son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. What a wonderful birthday present for this old lady! Now I really need another few days off to rest! Wish I had just some of their energy.

Work is moving ahead on the new location and we plan on having the book sale there on Saturday, Oct. 8 - Mule Jump Saturday. If you aren’t able to stop by before heading out to the Mule Jump, come by afterwards for some great bargains. The community has donated generously to the library and we are very appreciative. We can always use volunteers at the sale - just call or come by the library and sign up!

More people are stopping by the library to use the computer. The computer can be used for one hour for no charge. It is always a good idea to call ahead to reserve computer time.

I am hoping to get some new books on the shelves this week. Remember we have a large lot of Christian fiction books for sale along with magazines, children’s books and lots of general fiction and nonfiction books. Beat the crowd and pick up a few books this week.

See you at the library!
