PEA RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

One warrant served:

◊9/7 John Gregory, 31, Garfield, failure to appear

Other incidents include: Tuesday, Sept. 6

10 a.m. A resident on Sugar Creek reported a Stihl chain saw missing.

He reported two men had come to his house about 3 p.m. Friday, Sept.

2, asking for gasoline and that the next morning he noticed the chain saw, which was on his back porch, missing.

10:57 a.m. Trespassing complaint at Autumn Place; administrator reported that a former employee was coming onto the premises uninvited.

Kathy Rice, 27, Pea Ridge, was issued a no trespass warming.

5 p.m. While on patrol, an officer saw several large bags of trash on Doering Drive.The investigation led to Julie Bush, 43, Pea Ridge, being cited for illegal dumping.

Wednesday, Sept. 7

7 p.m. A woman complained that her 19-year-old daughter had taken her car without permission, broken into a house, and backed into a parked car causing damage to both vehicles. The homeowner declined to pursue charges. A warning wasissued for unauthorized use of a vehicle and criminal mischief, but the perpetrator was not located.

Thursday, Sept. 8

11 a.m. When Kenneth Lewis III, 32, Pea Ridge, went to the police station to file sexual offender papers, police discovered there were warrants for him from both Rogers and Fayetteville police departments. He was transported to Rogers.

Friday, Sept. 9

2 a.m. Alarm at Marvin’s IGA, found floor-cleaning crew inside.

4 p.m. A 36-year-old female resident of Richards Street reported a 33-year-old male was harassing her 15-year-old daughter by telephone.

Charges are pending.

Saturday, Sept. 10

10:12 a.m. A 20-year-old female resident of Springdale reported she had lost her purse while shopping at garage sales in town, possibly on North Curtis Avenue.

3:41 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge High School, the front door was found partially open and was secured.

3:45 p.m. A 35-year-old female resident of Prairie Grove reported that while she was at the football field, a man (also a Prairie Grove resident) had made obscene gestures and comments in front of her 11-year-old son.

12:47 p.m. Christopher Lee Oxford, 26, of Garfield, by BCSO for sexual indecency with a child.

10:02 p.m. Floyd William Clark Jr., 25, of Pea Ridge, by BCSO for third degree assault on a family or household member.

Friday, Sept. 9

3:33 p.m. Stephen Johnny Taylor, 54, of Garfield, by BCSO for two counts of contempt and felony theft of property.

3:44 p.m. David Kelley-Lucas, 22, of Rogers, by Little Flock Police for failure to appear.

9:25 p.m. Leo Anthony Frost, 62, of Avoca, by BCSO for driving while intoxicated and no driver’s license.
