LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Look at legal papers

To the Editor,

My sister and I had just come from the lawyer’s office the other day, and she asked me if I knew why the lawyers always used old English on their legal documents. I told her that from my understanding, it is because we are still essentially under the British Legal System. There is a world-wide law that has been established which makes every nation, company or corporation subject to maritime law. For those of you who believe this does not apply to you, just check your Social Security card or your driver’s license and you will see that your entire name is in capital letters. This means that the use of your name is the same as a corporation.

Maritime law works like this: When a cargo ship enters into a U.S. port from another nation, the captain hands over a detailed manifest sheet which proclaims everything that is being brought into the United States from that other nation. That ship (which is in the water) pulls into port and births. Then when the dock worker has unloaded the ship he signs the manifest papers, declaring the items have been received into the United States. This dock worker and the ships captain are both required by law to make sure that every item is verified and received.

This brings up the question, “Why a physician is called a doctor?” When a woman goes to the hospital to have a child, that woman is bringing a new life into the world economy. The child is birthed from the woman’s water channel.

That is why the mother and the doc worker (Doctor) have to sign the birth certificate. The new child has just become a new corporation.

Don’t take my word for it, go and check out all your legal papers and see if they don’t have all your names in capital letters.
