Joseph E. Forgey

Joseph E. “Joe” Forgey, 90, of Exeter, Mo., died Sept. 11, at his home. He was born June 13, 1921, in Seligman, Mo., to Elige and Winnie Gay Bowman Forgey.

During World War II, he served in the Army and was a cattle farmer and bulldozer operator.

Survivors include two sons, Jack Forgey and wife Connie of Cassville, Mo., and Jerry Forgey and wife Rhonda of Monett, Mo.;

two daughters, Shirley Jo Davis of Garfield and Zelma Lee Nickell of Wheaton, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was 6 to 8 p.m.

Wednesday at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Graveside services with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.

Doris Lookado

Doris Lookado, 84, of Pea Ridge, died Monday, Sept. 5, at Van Buren Healthand Rehab. She was born Sept.

1, 1927, in Arkadelphia, to Pryor Hurd Williams and Nettie Lee Patton.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Pea Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Lookado; a son, Bill Allen Lookado;

and a sister, Marie Trask.

Survivors include a son, Gary Lookado of Bentonville; a daughter, Jan Lookado and her husband, Ted Wilson, of Tulsa; two brothers, Donald Williams of Crossett and Calvin Williams of Dermott; two sisters, Norma Kelly of Conway and Nola Thomas of Camden; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was at 10 a.m.

Thursday, Sept. 8, at Sisco Funeral Chapel, Pea Ridge.

Service was at 11 a.m.

Thursday, Sept. 8, at Sisco Funeral Chapel.

Burial was in Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Tommy Stanphill

Tommy Stanphill, 83, of Rogers, died Sept. 5, in Springdale. He was born April 24, 1928, in Tahlequah, Okla., to Sam and May Stanphill.

He was a carpenter and attended the Assembly of God church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys, and one son, Tommy.

Survivors include his son, Roy Stanphill of Rogers; his daughter, Carolyn Brown of Pea Ridge; two sisters, Willie Earls of Rogers and Bobby Jean Henry of Okla.; 12 grandchildren;

37 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was Saturday, Sept. 10, at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery, Rogers.
