The city’s Water/Wastewater Department is on the agenda for the City Council meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Mike Mathis, engineer with Mathis, Carter & Associates, will be present.
Also on the agenda are ordinances to change the city’s current sign ordinance, a resolution adopting ad valorem taxes for 2011, discussion of the city’s fireworks ordinance, an update on the Peck Street bridge improvement project and appointment of an alderman to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Jack Kelly, ward 1, position 1.
Applications for the alderman position are still being accepted.
