Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Two warrants served:

◊10/20 Christopher Watkins, 30, Pea Ridge, failure to appear; and

◊10/21 Kimberly Cole, 15, of Pea Ridge, failure to appear, curfew violation.

Other incidents include: Monday, Oct. 17

10:24 a.m. A resident on Greer Street reported suspicious circumstances saying he heard about 30 gunshots in the previous 12 hours; while police were there, they heard one from the Shrader Road area, but were unable to locate the shooter.

1:28 p.m. An employee at McDonald’s reported a fraud involving a customer paying with a counterfeit $20 bill. Police initiated a traffic stop with the suspect and arrested Douglas Armstrong, 36, for felony forgery. He was taken to the Benton County Jail.

4:20 p.m. Arrested Michael Harris, 39, Pea Ridge, for second degree assault and second degree criminal mischief which stemmed from an incident reported on Oct. 9 in which Harris reportedly threw an object at a moving vehicle on St. Clair Street.

4:57 p.m. Public assist to a resident on Coler Street involving a 33-year-old female who had locked herself out of her house and requested police to let her in. Police were unable to unlock the door.

5:51 p.m. Assisted Benton County Sheriff’s deputies with a pursuit of a reckless driver in the area of Ark. Hwy. 94 and Sugar Creek Road.

Tuesday, Oct. 18

10 a.m. Responded to a suspicious circumstance involving an open garage door on an unoccupied house on Griffin Lane. Police found nothing disturbed in the house.

10:45 a.m. Fraudulent use of a credit card was reported by a resident who said there was a $44.28 charge on her credit card bill from Korea for something she did not order.

2:10 p.m. A two-vehicle accident on North Curtis Avenue at Lee Town Road involving Rhonda White, 51, Pea Ridge, and Kristina Lima, 37, Bella Vista.

4 p.m. A two-vehicle accident on Slack Street/Dove Road involving Wesley Harper, 17, Pea Ridge, and MichaelAdams, 62, Bella Vista.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

7:15 a.m. A one-vehicle accident on South Ark. Hwy. 94 at Sugar Creek involving Mark Hayden, 47, Bella Vista, who reported he had hit a deer.

3:25 p.m. An alarm at a residence on Oakley Street. The building was secure.

7:15 p.m. An alarm at a residence on Todd Circle. The building was secure.

11:45 p.m. Suspicious circumstances at a residence on Greer Street in which a woman reported that she had gone to bed, heard a loud bang, and found the front door open. Police did not find any sign of forced entry.

Thursday, Oct. 20

9 a.m. A 32-year-old male resident on Hickory Street reported that his privacy fence had been vandalized by someone painting breasts on it.

2:30 p.m. Relayed a message for Little Flock Police Department to a 17-year-old female on North Curtis Avenue that she had a subpoena to reported to Little Flock Court.

7:25 p.m. A 25-year-old male and 36-year-old female reported they had gone into McDonald’s and found their car missing when they returned to the parking lot. It was later reported it was believed to have been repossessed.

The woman wanted to find the towing company because she had left her purse and personal belongings in the 1995 Accura Integra.

8:20 p.m. A disturbance at King Lane apartments resulted in the arrest of Shawn Gleason, 42, and Nichole Gleason, 35, both of Pea Ridge, both for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

9:47 p.m. An alarm at Pea Ridge Intermediate School; all was secure.

10:48 p.m. An alarm at Sonic; all was secure.

Friday, Oct. 21

5:50 a.m. Two dogs were reported on Carr Street and Ark. Hwy. 72. They were picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

3:24 p.m. Welfare check on small child who was reported outside a residence on North Davis Street. When police arrived, they located a 4-year-old boy outside unsupervised; police spoke to mother, and advised her that it was not safe for the youngster to be outside unsupervised.

8:57 p.m. Woman reported leaving her wallet on top of car in the area of Oak View Animal Clinic. Police were unable to find the wallet. At 1:30 p.m.

on Oct. 23, a man brought a wallet to the Police Department reporting he had found it on Ark. Hwy. 72; it did belong to the lady who reported loosing a wallet.

It was returned.

9:48 p.m. Alarm, Pea Ridge Intermediate School, found building unsecured, but nothing disturbed. Found a custodian in the building.

Saturday, Oct. 22

9:13 a.m. A resident on Cherry Street reported criminal mischief involving spray painting a picture of breasts on the sidewalk. The man he had first noticed it on Wednesday after the students were out of school on Tuesday.

A neighbor on Cherry Street also had a similar picture painted on the sidewalk in front of his house. Another resident from the neighborhood on Hickory Street had reported on Thursday that a picture of breasts was spray painted on their privacy fence. Police interviewed two 13-year-old boys, one of whom initially denied any involvement, but further investigation led to his being charged with criminal mischief and obstructing governmental operations.

4:20 p.m. Traffic stop on North Weston Street resulted in the arrest of a passenger, Joseph Lewis, 30, of Pea Ridge, for warrants from Little Flock, Lowell and Elkins. He was released to Little Flock Police.

8:28 p.m. Welfare check at Ark. Hwy. 72 and Guthrie Road after being advised that a man was westbound on State Hwy. 72 in a wheel chair. Police located a 35-year-old white male in a motorized wheelchair who advised he was trying to get home before the rain.

For his safety, police followed him to his house on Van Dorn Street as it was dark and there were no lights on the chair.

He advised that he lost his phone and wallet on Shrader Road. Police located the items and returned them to him.

10:50 p.m. Advised of a black dog being hit by a car on It’ll Do Road, but the dog ran off. Police were unable to locate the dog.

Sunday, Oct. 23

6:22 a.m. A 19-year-old resident on Barnes Circle reported breaking or entering involving someone attempting to remove the CB radio from his truck and stealing black rubber work boots.

The vehicle had been parked behind his residence.

8:30 p.m. Agency assist for Benton County Sheriff’s Office checking the welfare of a man possibly unresponsive on the road side in the area of Patton Road and Arkansas Highway 72. Police located Harold Fulton, 43, of Rogers, who was intoxicated. Police took him into custody. He also had warrants for his arrest from both Rogers and Pea Ridge.

Monday, Oct. 24

1:34 a.m. Noise complaint at the King Lane apartments involving a person knocking on doors. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
