LITTLE ROCK — Ridge Rockers Square Dance

A special dance - the fifth annual Ridge Rockers Rumble - is set for 6 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Pea Ridge High School. The $10 entry fee includes dinner of all- you-can eat BBQ turkey, brisket and pulled pork, potato salad, coleslaw, beans and a dessert.

Square dancers from any and all clubs are welcome at all Ridge Rocker dances.

Pennies for Ryan Mondy Foundation

Pennies will be collected by fifth-grade students until Oct. 21, then donated at the D.A.S.H. Oct. 22. Send pennies to school with your children.

D.A.S.H. to Remember

The D.A.S.H. to Remember 5K run/walk is set for 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Ryan Mondy Memorial tee-ball field on Weston Street. Entry fees are $15 for 1 mile for children 12 and under, $20 for 5K all ages and 1 mile for adults, if postmarked by Oct. 15, and $25 for 5K, if postmarked after Oct. 15.

mondyfamily.com. Early registration participants receive a T-shirt and the first 100 registrations receive a goody bag.

Proceeds benefit theRyan Mondy D.A.S.H. Memorial Scholarship Endowment, a special scholarship through the Arkansas Community Foundation in Little Rock. The scholarship is designated to assist graduating seniors whose lives have been affected by cancer.

Historical Society field trip set

The Pea Ridge Historical Society will take a field trip to the Pea Ridge National Military Park. Those participating are to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the museum in Pea Ridge and drive to the Pea Ridge National Military Park, to begin the program at 6:30 p.m.
