Parent teacher conferences

There will be no school Tuesday, Oct. 18, due to parent teacher conferences. Conferences are from 12-6 p.m.

Book fairs coming

Pea Ridge Primary Scholastic Book Fair is set for 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 11, through Wednesday, Oct. 19, and 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, for parent teacher conferences. The theme for this book fairis “Reading is Out of this World.” Also, from 1-2 p.m. Oct. 12 - 14, will be the “Grands are Out of this World” event for students’ grandparents. Volunteers are needed.

Fall Festival and candy drive planned

The primary school is having a candy drive for the third annual Fall Festival from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25. Admission is $5 per child, children 2 andunder are free. All money raised at the festival goes back into the classrooms.

For information on donating a baked good for the cake walk or an item for the silent auction, call the school at 451-8183.

Intermediate School book fair set

Pea Ridge Intermediate is having a book fair from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, through Wednesday, Oct. 19, except Oct. 18, which is parent teacher conferences. They will beopen from 12 - 6 p.m. with refreshments being served and drawings for $100 worth of Scholastic books.

Pennies collected

Fifth-grade students in Pea Ridge will be collecting pennies to be donated to the Ryan Mondy Foundation. The goal is to collect 2,100 pennies by Friday, Oct. 21. The pennies will be taken to A D.A.S.H. to Remember, Saturday, Oct. 22, and donated.
