Everett Dale Begley

Everett Dale Begley, 79, of Pea Ridge, died Oct. 5, 2011, at Concordia Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bella Vista. He was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Texline, Texas, to Noah Jack and Eva M. Mills Begley.

He worked as a custodian for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Lavelle Marie Begley;

three sons, Bruce Begley and wife Sarah of Arlington, Texas, Eddie Begley of Moriarty, N.M., and Richard Hicks and wife Sharla of Odessa, Texas; two daughters, Rebecca Hickmon and husband Mike of Pea Ridge and Darla Jones and husband Kyle of Russellville; two brothers; a sister; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of life services will be Oct. 23 at the Pea Ridge Church of Christ at a time to be announced.

Arrangements are by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home and Crematory of Rogers.

Alice Marie Henson

Alice Marie Henson, 70, of Pea Ridge, died Saturday, Oct. 8, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

She was born March 3, 1941, to Clyde Don Nida andGeorgia Gertrude Sparlin Nida.

She was a member of Granny’s Quilts of Love and a volunteerat Pea Ridge Community Library. She was a member of Pea Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Henson; one sister, Madge Bland; and four brothers, Richard, Jimmy, Wayne and Daryl Nida.

Survivors include one son, Jim Henson and Beth of Pea Ridge; two daughters, Judy Frost and Mike of Bentonville and Trish Fitzner and Jerry of Pea Ridge; four brothers, Bobby Nida and Marsha of Delaney, Ark., Jerry Nida and Jeanette of Garfield, Paul Nida of Dallas, Texas, and Larry Nida and Linda of Pea Ridge; two sisters,Nancy Pendergraft and Ralph of Tontitown and Doris Nida of Rogers; five grandsons; and eight greatgrandchildren.

Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, atSisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Funeral was at 10 a.m.

Tuesday, Oct 11, at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

Burial was in Pea Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pea Ridge Freewill Baptist Church, 351 Lee Town Rd., Pea Ridge, Ark. 72751.

Charles ‘C.M.’ Johnson

Charles “C.M.” Johnson, 77, died Oct. 4, 2011, in Bentonville. He was born Oct.

19, 1933, in Avoca, Ark., to Wes and Stella Johnson.

He was a stranger to none and loved to share joy with others. He loved being outside, riding horses, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wes and Stella Johnson; his wife, Goldie Irene Guess Johnson; two brothers, Larry and Floyd Johnson;

and one sister, Josephine Johnston.

Survivors include his second wife, Dorothy Jackson Johnson of Rogers; two sons, James Johnson and wife, Tammy, of Springdale,and Ray Johnson and wife, Angela, of Rogers; daughter, Sharon Fischer of Irving, Texas; three brothers, Don Johnson and David Johnson, both of Rogers, and Leroy Johnson of Seligman, Mo.; one sister, Linda Dorey of Rogers; two stepsons, Johnny Jackson of Rogers and Jerry Jackson of Powell, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth Street, Rogers.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Walnut Hill Church, with pastor Johnny Case officiating.

Interment was in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Betty Elaine Ragland

Betty Elaine Ragland, 68, of Pineville, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 6, at Circleof Life Hospice in Bentonville.

She was born Dec. 13, 1942, to Lawrence GlennWalton and Caroline Rose Palmer Walton in Sabetha, Kan.

She was employed at Arvest Bentonville as a word processor. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge where she was a pianist for 42 years. She loved God first and then her family. She enjoyed collecting lighthouses and butterflies.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Ragland of the home; two sons, Duane Ragland and Craig Ragland and his wife Karisa of Pineville; one sister, Christie Beck and Glenn of Pineville; and two granddaughters, Ami and Amanda Ragland.

Visitation was 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, in First Baptist Church.

Service was at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

Burial was in Simsberry Cemetery north of Pea Ridge.

Eduardo Leon Zaldana

Eduardo Leon Zaldana, 73, of Rogers died Oct. 7, 2011, in Rogers. He was born Jan. 14, 1938, in El Salvador to Eduardo Zaldana and Maria Leon.

He was a member of the Springdale Church of Christ and worked for Tyson.

Survivors include his wife, Mercedes Molina of Rogers; three sons, Jose Molina and wife Martha of Rogers, Alvino Leon and his wife Blanca of Rogers and Carlos Molina and wife Maria of Rogers; three daughters, Maria Alas and husband Manuel of Pea Ridge, Marina Molina of Rogers and Beatriz Zepeda and husband Andres of Rogers; 18 grandchildren;

and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers.

Funeral services were at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass services were on Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers with burial at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers.
