Ridge Rockers dance & fish fry set

A regular Ridge Rockers dance with a ’50’s theme is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at Pea Ridge Intermediate School. There will also be a fish fry for $5. All regular dances are located in the school cafeteria.

The 5th annual Ridge Rocker Rumble is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. This will be a special dance at the Pea Ridge High School; there is a $10 entry fee which includes dinner of an all-you-can eat BBQ turkey, brisket and pulled pork; potato salad, coleslaw, beans and dessert.

Square dancers from any and all clubs are welcome at all Ridge Rocker dances.For information, call 531-2043.

D.A.S.H. to Remember

The D.A.S.H. to Remember 5K run/walk is set for 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Ryan Mondy Memorial T-ball field, on Weston Street. Entry fees are $15 for 1 mile for children 12 and under, $20 for 5K all ages and 1 mile for adults, if postmarked by Oct. 15, and $25 for 5K, if postmarked after Oct. 15.

Entry forms are available at Rush Running, Bentonville, or online at www.mondyfamily.com. Early registration participants receive a T-shirt and the first 100 registrations receive a goody bag.

Proceeds benefit the Ryan Mondy D.A.S.H. Memorial Scholarship Endowment, a special scholarship through the Arkansas Community Foundation in Little Rock. The scholarship is designated to assist graduating seniors whose lives have been affected by cancer.

Historical Society field trip set

The Pea Ridge Historical Society have planned a field trip to the Pea Ridge National Military Park for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25. Participants meet at the museum in Pea Ridge and drive to the Pea Ridge National Military Park. The program begins at 6:30 p.m.

AREA EVENTS

Spook Trail open on weekends

SELIGMAN, Mo. - Seligman Fire Protection District is hosting their 14th annual Spook Trail on the weekends of Oct. 14-15, 21-22 and 28-29. Tickets will be sold from 8 p.m. until midnight. The cost is $5 per person, children 5 and under are free. Concessions will be available.

Support the Seligman Fire Department and vote for a favorite scene. No alcohol is allowed on the premises. All proceeds go to the support of the organization. The trail is located on State Line Road, west of Seligman.

Monthly singing at Reddick set

GARFIELD - Monthly singing, 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Reddick Assembly of God. Anyone is invited to come enjoy the music. Every third Saturday of the month Reddick Assembly of God, Gateway Church and Seligman Assembly of God, cometogether and have their monthly singing. Next month’s singing will be 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, atthe Gateway Church.
