Young ’Hawks keep winning

Young Blackhawks in Pea Ridge fourth- through sixth-grades swept Farmington this past Saturday.

The fourth-grade team won 36 to 8.

The fifth-grade team won 30 to 14.

And, the sixth-grade team won 30 to 8.

It’s been a great season for Blackhawk football.

All of the young teams are at the top and in the hunt for the northwest conference title.

“We are coming off of a year last year where our fifth- and sixth-grades both won the conference title,” Dickie Winn, Pee Wee football chairman, said. “So things are great.

“Football is on the rise in Pea Ridge. Let’s get excited, fans and parents. We will be traveling to West Fork this Saturday.”

Youth football games are fourth-grade at 9 a.m., fifth-grade at 10 a.m. and sixth-grade at 11 a.m.
