1985: PR Chamber of Commerce, “Fall Festival” name changed to 1st “Battlefield Day.” Nov.2, dog show, mule jump, craft fair.

1986: Oct.18, food, music, trail rides, mule jump, arts & crafts, cars

1987: Fall Fest, Oct. 3, 1987, downtown Pea Ridge, Hootenanny-school gym, musicians, fiddlers, vocalists, comics, dog show and coon treeing competition, 5K won by Kern Sorrell, Pea Ridge, 17 minutes, 50 seconds; dog race; and goat wagon rides.

1988: Oct.15; Fourth Annual Fall Fest; PR School;

auction, bicycle race, trail ride, tricycle race, mule jump, bat race, chicken race, music, car show; sponsored by PR Lion’s Club

1989: First Pea Ridge Mule Jump, sponsored by Pea Ridge Lions Club

1999-2001: Friends of Pea Ridge sponsored Mule Jump as fundraiser for United Fund

2002: Pea Ridge Parks Commission

2003: First professional mule jump established with $1,000 cash prize

2004: Mule from Virginia won pro jump
