Volleyball wins conference

— The Pea Ridge Junior High volleyball team completed their season on Saturday, Oct. 15, in Berryville taking second at the District Tournament. The Junior Lady ’Hawks won the conference, finishing the season at a successful 12-2.

Leading the team in kills this year were Mikhaela Cochran and Emma Pitts, according to coach Jessica Woods.

Stephanie Wood and Anna Morgan led the team in assists, and Rilee Patrick led the team in digs.

The top servers this season were Lindsey Bush, Rilee Patrick and Stephanie Wood.

The varsity Blackhawk volleyball team also finished their season recently, falling to Gravette in the District Tournament. The Lady ’Hawks went 4-12 for the season, with the program’s first conference wins against Gentry and Berryville.
