School seeks input

Input for new superintendent 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 PRHS Media Center

— Parents and community members are invitedto share their ideas about the criteria for a school superintendent at an input meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the high school Media Center. Dr. Paul Hewitt, co-advisor, and Dr. Roland Smith, interim school superintendent, will be there.

Hewitt is scheduled to spend Wednesday visiting with school personnel and community and School Board members Thursday.

He is to summarize the information received to provide a set of criteria to the School Board. That is tobe presented at the regular School Board meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14. The board is also expected to discuss the expectations, timelines and parameters for the superintendent search.

Other items on the agenda include considering a weather station, a progress reportabout the historic lunchroom building, the district Facilities Committee report, the AdvancEd accreditation visit, the school’s web siteand the 2011 Northwest Arkansas Report card.

The meeting is open to the public and is in the Media Center of the high school.
