◊10/24 David Periman, 22, Bella Vista, failure to appear;

◊10/29 Charles Hughes, 23, Bella Vista, contempt failure to pay fines and costs;

Monday, Oct. 24

7:10 a.m. Alarm Pea Ridge High School, an employee said he set it off accidentally.

9:22 a.m. Vandalism at Kids Academy, Slack Street, involving playground equipment turned over and damaged.

Video surveillance revealed that two young boys had gone behind the building Saturday and scattered mulch and turned over the playground equipment.

10 p.m. Alarm, Pea Ridge Intermediate School, spoke to an employee, the building was secure.

Tuesday, Oct. 25

2:31 p.m. A dog was reported running loose on South Curtis Avenue.

Police picked up a small black and white mixed-breed dog and took it to Pea Ridge Veterinarian Clinic.

3:28 p.m. A pedestrian/motor-vehicle accident involving a car driven by Sandra Hedlund, 52, Pea Ridge, hitting a 13-year-old boy of Pea Ridge on Weston Street at McCulloch Street.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

1:30 p.m. A resident of Weston Loop reported two fraudulent charges on her pre-paid Visa card.

2:28 p.m. A dog was reported running loose on Eagle Crest and bothering another dog. Police found the dog and cited the owner, Troy McAllister, 41, of Pea Ridge, for dog at large.The owner picked up his dog.

3 p.m. A woman requested a welfare check reporting that she had seen a small boy about 4 years of age standing beside a white Cadillac Escalade parked on the north side of Arvest Bank near the bushes and the boy had his pants pulled down urinating in the bushes. The vehicle was registered to a resident on Gann Ridge Road; the incident was turned over to Benton County Sheriff’s deputies who were unable to locate anyone at the residence.

10:31 p.m. Were notified by employees of Mercy Medical Center of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound. The 40-year-old man reported he had gone to a residence north of the high school and saw a handgun lying on the ground and a baby walking toward the gun. He told police he grabbed the gun with his left hand and it went off and shot through his palm. Police turned the incident over to Benton County Sheriff’s deputies as the residence was in the county.

Thursday, Oct. 27

2:57 a.m. Assisted Pea Ridge Ambulance at a residence on Bertschy Road.

4:19 p.m. Criminal mischief in progress was reported by a resident on Greene Street who said there were several young girls and boys spray painting and kicking holes in a storage building behind another residence on Greene Street. It was reported the youths were also smoking and antagonizing a dog. Police spoke to the parents of the youths who said the storage building was their playhouse.

4:29 p.m. Received a report of a reckless driver in a black Mustang with blue stripes on Hazelton Road and Charles Street. Police spoke to the 23-year-old driver who said he wasn’t driving recklessly.

Friday, Oct. 28

4:20 a.m. A man at EZ Mart reported he was wanted on felony warrants.

Police spoke toWilliam Salts, 27, who said he was homeless and wanted on a felony warrant from Bentonville.

He said he was tired of being cold and wanted to go to jail to get warm. Police confirmed the warrant. A BCSO deputy transported Salt to the Jail.

12:45 p.m. A 14-year-old boy reported that a 17-year-old boy threatened him on his way to school.

4:15 p.m. An employee at McDonald’s reported an 18-year-old male suspect for DWI had harassed her.

5:45 p.m. A resident on Lynn Drive reported criminal mischief involving someone knocking on her door for the past two nights about 10 p.m., but no one was there when she answered the door and that on this date, she arrived home to find two window screens bent and pulled away from the window.

7 p.m. A woman reported that her 13-year-old niece was being harassed by two boys, ages 13 and 17, on Facebook and at school.

8 p.m. An off-duty police officer observed a 15-year-old female walk upto and punch a 16-year-old boy in the face and walk away. She was stopped, questioned, handcuffed and placed in a police car. Her parent was contacted and she was charged with battery 3 and given a Juvenile Court appearance. The boy was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel.

11:30 p.m. A dog was reported at large on Ellis Lane. The reporting party complained the dog was constantly barking and had acted aggressively toward a child. Police found the owner of the dog, Chris Ingram, 27, of Pea Ridge, and cited him for dog at large.

Saturday, Oct. 29

11:25 a.m. A 19-year-old male reported a license plate had been stolen off his vehicle which had been towed and impounded.

1:30 p.m. A resident of Greenwood Cove reported her mailbox had been damaged.

2:25 p.m. An alarm at Pea Ridge HighSchool; a cafeteria employee was on the scene, as was the school principal.

2:44 p.m. An alarm at Pea Ridge Middle School gym; the principal was on the scene.

6:54 p.m. A traffic stop on Lee Town Drive resulted in the arrest of Mack Davis, 32, Bella Vista, for DWI, driving on a suspended driver’s license, refusal to submit, careless driving and no proof of insurance.

10 p.m. A dog barking for hours was reported by a resident of Ellis Lane.

Police cited the owner, Chris Ingram, 27, Pea Ridge, for the dog’s barking.

10:25 p.m. A reckless driver on Arkansas Highway 94 North was reported by Bella Vista Police. Police were unable to locate.

Sunday, Oct. 30

2:28 a.m. Agency assist, Little Flock police, a disturbance at apartments.

5:43 a.m. Stood by for a medical call for Pea Ridge Ambulance at a residence on South Curtis Avenue.

8:45 a.m. A resident on Linder Street reported that a large dog was loose in her neighborhood, that she had captured it in her back yard. Police picked up the dog and took it to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

7:30 p.m. Agency for Benton County Sheriff’s Office in locating persons at a residence on Smith Street. The people at the residence were not the persons wanted by BCSO.

11:20 p.m. A resident on St. Clair Street reported hearing strange noises; police found nothing suspicious, but did hear cows bawling.

Monday, Oct. 31

3:05 p.m. An alarm at Pea Ridge Middle School gym; the building was secure.

9:08 p.m. Police were dispatched to a disturbance on Reed Street. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Gretchen Cordoza 51 PeaRidge, for public intoxication. She was issued a no trespass warning and advised to not return to the residence on Reed Street.

She was taken to the Benton County Jail and released Tuesday morning.
