Bazaar and Tetrazzini dinner

The Pea Ridge United Methodist Women annual Bazaar and Tetrazzini dinner is 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the church.

The bazaar will include crafts and baked goods. For information, call 451-1616.

Historical Society meet

Starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, the Historical Society’s program will be on Pea Ridgers and relatives of Pea Ridge families who had military service records during the Civil War (Union or Confederate). This program will be presented by Jeff Nichols and Jerry Nichols.

Money for missions

A garage sale is set for 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov.5, by First Baptist Church, Pea Ridge, at Pea Ridge Middle School, 1391 Weston St. Proceeds go to missions to support children in Haiti and Uganda. Many items will be available including furniture, household items, clothing and much more.

Poinsettias for sale

Poinsettias are for sale by the Pea Ridge Lions Club.

The 6 1/2-inch plants are $10 and 8-inch plants (three plants) are $20. Orders will be taken until Nov. 15 and delivery will be Dec. 2 and 3. To order, call, text or e-mail Harry Palmer at 640-0767, Jerry Nichols at 621-1621 or [email protected].

Proceeds from the poinsettia sale will go to finance the Lions Club programs of assistance for eye exams and eyeglasses for school children and others of limited means.
