NEBCO Station 2 captain Corey Cannon, captain Nick Mason and chief Rob Taylor presented Jerry Nida with a plaque noting his 16 years of service to the department April 21. When Nida joined the NEBCO Fire Department in 1995, there was the main station just two blocks from his house and a second station on Wimpy Jones Road.
