PEA RIDGE — Granny’s Quilts of Love met Tuesday, April 19, at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge. Nancy Davis opened the meeting with a prayer and Mary Margaret Webb conducted the meeting.
Discussion was held about the menu and the big donated items for the dinner and auction set for Aug. 27.
As of meeting date, 11,533 quilts, along with 1,629 hats and 3,938 pillows, have been made and donated to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
The next meeting is set for 9:30 a.m. May 17, at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church. This will be a cutting meeting, be sure to bring scissors.
