PEA RIDGE — The deadline to enter the 2011 Miss Pea Ridge and Junior Miss Pea Ridge contests is Monday, May 23.
The contest will be held during the Pea Ridge Community Fair July 6-9, and is sponsored by the Beta Alpha chapter of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha International sorority.
The winner of the contest will represent Pea Ridge as a goodwill ambassador for the year 2011-2012.
Applicants applying for the Miss Pea Ridge contest must be a junior going into their senior year.
Applicants for Junior Miss Pea Ridge must be current freshmen or sophomores.
To register, come to City Park at 5:30 p.m. May 23 for a question and answer session and photo shoot. Entry fee is $25.
