— Media Center Field Trips

Students, at the Pea Ridge Intermediate School, who meet both third and fourth quarter reading goals set by their teachers with 85 percent average correct will be rewarded with a field trip to Roaring River State Park.

Third quarter reading goals will be closed April 1. This gives students time to read over spring break, come back and test, and meet their teacher’s goal.

Students may use books from home and public libraries since most books can be tested over.

Benchmark exams are the week of April 11-15. Benchmark night will be Thursday, March 31, in the high school cafeteria, for parents and students. Parents of third graders will meet from 6 - 6:45 p.m. and parents with students in the fourth and fifth grade will meet from 7 - 7:45 p.m.

Students in attendance will receive a free Benchmark T-shirt with this year’s Benchmark logo, “Are you in it to win it?” Pea Ridge has some of the highest test scores in northwest Arkansas and across the state.
