Several Fire Departments from Benton and Washington counties participated this weekend in Pea Ridge Fire Department’s second annual “Mashed up in March” vehicle rescue/extrication training exercise.

Firefighters worked together with each department, and manufacturer technical representatives to stay on top of rescue tool familiarization and technique. Scenarios included multi-patient and school bus rescue incidents. Departments involved included Pea Ridge, Avoca, Springdale, Beaver Lake, Piney Point, Rogers, Round Mountain, Arkansas Highway 94 and Elkins
