— James Carl Carden

James Carl Carden, 83, of Seligman, Mo., died Monday, March 14, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

He was born Oct. 19, 1927, at Pea Ridge to George Washington Carden and Clara Frances Clanton Carden.

He was a lifetime resident of the area, served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a corporal, and was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Seligman for many years.

He was a member of Antioch Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Clyde Carden, and one sister, Alice Jean Gundel.

Survivors include his wife, Viola Carden of Seligman; one son, Jerry Cardenand wife, Jo Anna, of Seligman; two sisters, Margaret Bush of Cave Springs; and Lula Mae Coffee of Jane, Mo.; two grandchildren;

and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Friday, March 18, at Antioch Cemetery in Missouri.

Audra M. Pratt

ROGERS - Audra M.

Pratt, 96, of Rogers died March 20, 2011, at Ashley Health and Rehab. She was born Dec. 20, 1914, to Hayden and Vesta BylerEasley.

Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Dye of Garfield and Sandra Creech of Little Flock; two sisters;

six grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and a greatgreat-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Pratt Cemetery near Pea Ridge.

Carl Dean Stephens Pruitt

HIWASSE - Carl Dean Stephens Pruitt, 85, of Hiwasse, Ark., died Mon., March 14, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark. She was born on May, 13, 1925, in Jacket, Mo., to Stephen G. Wood and Cora L. Branham Wood.

She loved to cook, spend time with family and traveling with her sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy L. Stephens of Bella Vista; and Dale Stephens and wife, Linda, of Springdale; two sisters, Leta Faye Dean of Pea Ridge; and Barbara Ginn and husband, John, of Centerton; four grandchildren, Jamie Stephens and wife, April; John Stephens; D’Etta Mason and husband, David; and Jamie Butler; and four greatgrandchildren.

A graveside service was held March 17 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse with Roy Roughton officiating.

Arrangements were made by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Guy Lester Cope

Guy Lester Cope, 56, died March 16, at the Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. He was born on Jan. 18, 1955, in Las Vegas, N.M., to Joe and Naoma Pool Cope.

He worked many years at Kennametal in Rogers as a mechinist.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Aderhold Cope of the home; hismother, Naoma Cope of Avoca; his son, Calvin Cope and wife, Amanda, of Bentonville; two daughters, Melissa Romero and husband, Jose, of Rogers, and Julie Gibson and husband, Chris, of Bentonville; two brothers, Cam Cope of Conroe, Tx., and Cliff Cope of Fort Smith;

two sisters, Tammy Evans and Bonnie Abihana, both of Rogers; and three grandchildren, Torin, Lane and Dylan.

A memorial service was held Saturday, March 19, at the Brightwater Memorial United Methodist Church in Rogers.
