Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include: Tuesday, March 15

9 a.m. A possible trespassing that occurred a week ago at a vacant house on Green Street was reported.The complainant said he had seen several juveniles coming in and out of the vacant building.The incident is under investigation.

10 a.m. An open door was reported at a vacant house on McCulloch Street. The building was checked and found to be unoccupied.

Wednesday, March 16

7 a.m. Theft of a license plate off a trailer parked behind the flea market on West PIckens Street was reported.The license plate was later found.

5 p.m. Bentonville Police requested Pea Ridge Police to contact a 16-year-old female living in town. She was located at a residence on Weston Street and arrested on a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance.

Thursday, March 17

5:30 p.m. A disturbance call at a residence on Eagle Crest resulted in the arrest of Christopher Ennis, 32, of Pea Ridge for felony domestic battery.The subject had left the residence, resulting in officers searching the neighborhood for him. Ennis returned to the residence and was arrested. He was also served with a warrant from Pea Ridge for contempt failure to pay fines and costs. He was taken to the Benton County Jail.

12:15 p.m. A resident on Asboth Street reported her 10- by 13-foot tent she had staked in her front yard had been stolen.

7:15 p.m. Rebekah Marshall, 39, of Bentonville, reported that while she was driving on It’ll Do Road near the ball fields, a softball hit her windshield and broke it.

Friday, March 18

12:15 a.m. A resident on South Curtis Avenue reported that her 5-year-old daughter had been bitten by a dog she was keeping for her brother. The dog was current on vaccinations. The child was taken to the hospital and kept overnight.

9:45 a.m. A disturbance in progress on Choate Place was determined to be verbal, not physical. Police stood by until the male subject left the premises.

12 p.m. Police were notified by Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division of a report of a possible sexual assault against an 11-year-old girl. The child was interviewed at the Children’s Advocacy Center. After interviewing the suspect, both departments determined the report was unfounded.

2:45 p.m. A 2001 Pontiac parked in the high school parking was reported damaged by Hannah Pearson, 16, Pea Ridge.

There appeared to be pry marks on the door. The incident was listed as a criminal mischief.

4:30 p.m. While working on an incident from a previous report, police went to an apartment on East Pickens Street, to interview people. In the course of the investigation, Raymond D. Lyons, 49, Pea Ridge, was arrested for two outstanding warrants from the Rogers Police Department and transported to Rogers.

Saturday, March 19

12:10 a.m. Police were approached by Nina Pinto, 21, Pea Ridge, saying she had been beaten up by Keith Wiltgen, 28, Pea Ridge. After taking the complaint, police located Wiltgen, who appeared to have marks on him. After taking his statement, police arrested both Wiltgen and Pinto for domestic battery III and transported both to the Benton County Jail.

12:30 a.m. A 20-year-old male from a residence on Harris Road reported he was receiving harassing communications from his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend. The investigation revealed the incident occurred in the county and was turned overto the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

10 a.m. A domestic disturbance at the Kings Lane Apartments was reported by a 30-year-old female who said her husband had hit her and left. She did not want him arrested. While taking the report, police discovered she had an outstanding felony warrant on her from Miller County. She was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail.

9 p.m. A controlled burn which had gotten out of control at the ball field on Weston Street was reported. Upon arrival, police found a man and child attempting to fight the fire. Police moved the child to safety and helped extinguish the fire until firefighters arrived.

Sunday, March 20

10:30 p.m. Police were asked to perform a civil standby while a father picked up his child at a residence on North Hayden Road.

Before police arrived at the residence, Central Communications also received a 911 call from someone in the residence on North Hayden Road complaining that the man was at the residence trying to pick up his child. Both parties were advised it was a civil matter and needed to be worked out in the court system.

Monday, March 21

1:25 a.m. An alarm at Fred’s Store. A representative arrived and the building was found to be secure.

6:13 p.m. Criminal mischief involving damage to an outbuilding behind a residence on Dodge Street. It was determined that neighborhood children had caused the damage. The property owner declined to press charges saying he would work it out with the children’s parents.

6:36 p.m. Police broke up a disturbance outside the police department by the same subjects who had called police Sunday night regarding child custody issues. The subjects were advised the issue was civil and to leave.

Persons from northeast Benton County booked into the Benton County Jail this week include: Wednesday, March 16

12:30 a.m. Jesus Calzada-Rodarte 52, Garfield, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for careless driving, driving while intoxicated, forgery, no driver’s license, obstructing governmental operations and refusal to submit to intoxication test.

5:03 p.m. Jose Cabrere-Ayala, 22, Rogers, was arrested by Little Flock police for domestic battering in the third degree. No bond was set.

Thursday, March 17

1:41 p.m. Dawn Renee Jackson, 26, Garfield, was arrested by the Department of Community Correction for a revoke. No bond was set.

2:20 p.m. Melvin Earl Smith, 29, Minneapolis, Minn., was arrested by Little Flock police for two failure to appear charges. He was being held on $5,000 bond.

6:13 p.m. Julian Gomez-Ramirez, 36, Garfield, was arrested by BCSO for no driver’s license. No bond was set.

Friday, March 18

6:20 p.m. Raymond Dean Lyons, 49, Little Flock, was arrested by Rogers police on two counts of contempt. He was being held on $400 bond.
