’Til Next Time — Spring is budding; cleanup is coming

A quote from Max Eastman, “Dogs laugh but they do it with their tails.”

Raking the yard brings on a whole new set of muscles to ache. The weather, the flowers in bloom, the lilac and forsythia bushes are leafing out, and I have two hens wanting to set. Makes my heart so full, it’s running over. The words of thanks and gratefulness come so fast that I quit saying them out loud and just let my mind whirl them out.

I see the county is planning on helping with the trash along our roads. The grandson and I have become careless about taking a trash bag with us. The reason is, after I get my speed up and heart rate going, and he’s on his bicycle, it’s not handy to do trash.

We may have to make some special trips.

Mary Kay Crowley tells us that she had five generations present for her birthday - herself, her daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter and great-great-granddaughter.

What a day for such a nice lady. She makes her home at Innsfree now.

Brightwater is planning on a lake day, fishing, boating, eating, hiking, whatever you choose. They plan on Saturday, March 26. More plans later and hoping for a warm day.

We keep some people on our pray list. Always for Kim Weston. We continue to pray that she keeps improving and for dear Dottie Bledsoe. We’ll all be glad when she can return toservices. Lois and Kenny Kinney, we pray for their health to improve - and all the rest of the list. Seems like there is a lot of illness right now.

Next week is spring break. It sure seems like this school year went fast until I remember the forever trial of multiplication tables.
